Pixeloku is a color-based logic puzzle. Fill in the empty cells so that each row, column, and 3x3 section contains every color exactly once. Use logic to deduce the correct placement - no guessing required!

There are six difficulty levels based on how many cells are pre-filled:
Beginner: 41 cells filled - great for learning
Easy: 38 cells filled
Medium: 35 cells filled
Intermediate: 32 cells filled
Hard: 29 cells filled
Extreme: 26 cells filled - for experts only

Classic: Traditional gameplay at your own pace with no restrictions
Adventure: Progress through 150 handcrafted levels across six chapters, earning pixel rewards and unlocking themes
Daily Challenge: A new puzzle every day - build your streak!
Timed: Race against the clock and earn bonus points for quick completions
Moves: Complete the puzzle within a set number of moves
No Mistake: A single wrong placement ends the game - perfect for experts
Rush Hour: Cells disappear over time - solve before they're gone
Blocked: Some cells start locked - unlock them by solving adjacent cells
Endless: Unlimited puzzles with no hints and no undo - pure challenge
Follow the Leader: Colors must be placed in palette order - the game guides you through each color one at a time
Shapes: Place colored shapes on the board - find where each piece belongs
Ghost Race: Race against the fastest player's time for each difficulty - beat the ghost to set a new record
Links: Cells connect like chain links - solve one cell and watch it chain-solve linked neighbors automatically
Fog: Some clues hide in the fog - place colors nearby to clear the fog and reveal hidden pre-filled cells
Memory: Like the classic card game - tap two cells to reveal colors, matching pairs auto-fill permanently
Paper: Solve like on paper - no feedback until you're done. Erase any color you placed and use hints to see which placements are wrong
Stained Glass: Four extra panes sit on the board, and each one needs all nine colors too

Random: Let fate decide - game mode, difficulty, and theme are all randomized

Adventure Mode features 150 handcrafted levels across six chapters. Complete levels to earn pixel rewards and bonus hints. Progress through increasingly challenging puzzles and unlock special milestone rewards along the way!

Endless, Rush Hour, Blocked, Follow the Leader, Shapes, Ghost Race, Links, Fog, Memory and Stained Glass are premium-exclusive, along with the Territory and Relay multiplayer modes. All other modes (including Paper) are available to all players.

You and your opponent take turns. In Duel and Race you each have your own board; in Territory and Relay you share one.

Duel — block your opponent's colors with correct tile placement. First to fill the board wins.

Race — fewest moves and fastest time wins.

Territory (Premium) — share one board with your opponent. Every tile you fill is claimed by you. Most tiles wins.

Relay (Premium) — share one board with your opponent. Fewest mistakes wins.

To play another person, yes. Without it you can still play any multiplayer mode against a bot, and the button says “Play a Bot” so you always know which you are getting.

Because nobody at your rank was searching at that moment. Pixeloku looks for about eight seconds rather than leaving you watching a spinner. Matches against a bot count toward your own record and achievements, but only wins against real players move your rank.

Five tiers — Newcomer, Steady, Sharp, Expert and Master — with three divisions each. You are matched against players in your own tier, so the difficulty sets the board size and the tier sets who you meet on it.

Pixels are the in-game currency. Earn them by completing puzzles, winning games, and reaching milestones. Use pixels in the store to purchase hints and unlock new color themes.

Hints reveal the correct color for a single cell. You can earn hints by playing games and spending pixels, or through Adventure Mode rewards. Hints are available in most game modes except Endless.

The store offers hints and color themes. Spend your earned pixels to unlock beautiful new color palettes for your puzzles, or stock up on hints for when you need them.

Tap the game settings panel at the top of the game screen, then expand the Theme section to see all your available themes. Select any unlocked theme to apply it immediately.

These are specially designed themes that use colors easily distinguishable for players with color vision differences. Enable them in Settings > Appearance & Sound > Color Blind Themes.

The Custom Theme Editor is a Premium-exclusive feature. Once you have Premium, go to Settings > Appearance & Sound > Customize Theme to design your own color palette with full control over all nine colors.

Go to Settings > Appearance & Sound and tap the theme toggle. You can choose Light, Dark, or System (which follows your device settings).

No. There is no Pixeloku account to create. Your progress syncs through your own iCloud storage automatically. Connecting Game Center is optional and adds achievements, leaderboards, and multiplayer; without it you play as a Guest, and everything else works the same.

There is nothing to do. As long as each device is signed in to the same Apple Account, your stats, themes, and Pixels are already there. You can play offline and everything syncs when you are back online.

Premium unlocks exclusive game modes (Endless, Rush Hour, Blocked, Follow the Leader, Shapes, Ghost Race, Links, Fog, Memory and Stained Glass), the Territory and Relay multiplayer modes, premium-exclusive themes with shimmer and sparkle effects, the Custom Theme Editor, and bonus pixels.

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Premium" to restore your purchase on any device using the same Apple ID.

Rankings come from Game Center and are based on the games you win today, so they reset every day. First place is open to anyone, not just the players who have been at it longest. Sign into Game Center on your device and your rank updates as you play.

There are 74 achievements covering wins, game modes, Daily, Adventure chapters, skill, streaks and themes. Each one pays pixels when you earn it, and finishing all 64 pays another 25,000. Sign into Game Center to collect them, then view them in the app under Stats > Achievements.

Timed, Moves, No Mistake, Rush Hour and Ghost Race show the best score anyone has set at your difficulty, and who set it. Each difficulty keeps its own record, because an easier grid has fewer cells to fill and will always take fewer moves and less time. Moves shows a perfect game to match instead of a score to beat, since the fewest moves possible is just the number of empty cells.

The app tracks total games played, wins, win streaks, losses, best times, hints available, and more. View your stats by tapping your profile in the app.

Your device model and iOS version. For anything about a leaderboard, achievement, or match, your Game Center nickname helps too.

Settings > Data > Reset Game Data erases everything Pixeloku has stored on your device and in your iCloud. This cannot be undone.

If you created a Pixeloku account before September 2026, Settings > Data > Delete Pixeloku Account removes that account and its data from our servers, and leaves your game progress untouched. If you have trouble with either, email us at pixeloku@gmail.com.
